Hello, and welcome to our virtual family night! We are excited to have the class of 2024!

Family night is an energizing, fun, and inspirational time for incoming freshmen and their parents to get to know a little bit about University High School.  We know you have questions about classes to take, activities on campus, clubs to join, sports , drama, music… the list goes on and on.  Although we cannot duplicate the energy and fun of a true family night on campus, we would like to try.

University is a special place where young people can grow, find and pursue their passions, and  have new experiences.  With that in mind, we have laid out the following elements that define our family night.

·          Club and Co-Curricular fair.

·          Athletics Fair

·          Counseling presentation, including DHH and English Language Development

·          Student information

We encourage you to take a look at all of it at some point.  The page will be left up through June, but some items are time sensitive (i.e. counseling presentation and course selection/student packet) and should be viewed immediately.

The first item you need is the student packet.  In it you will find information on freshmen course of studies as well as interest information on our many co-curricular programs like music, theater and the Arts Core. If you would like to pick up a hard copy, you may come by the school between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM Monday through Friday starting Friday, April 17.

D/HH Families: As we continue to evaluate how to get information to students and families during these times of Distance Learning, the DHH Program here at University High School decided we needed some more time to collect and share details to help students transition successfully from middle to high school.  We will be scheduling a meeting for our 8th grade students and families in late May or early June to review information specific to our program and collect additional information regarding special activities and clubs for our students here at UNI.  You should all have received an email from us about this.  If you did not, please contact us.  Hope all of you are safe and well.
